The Three, a new sci-fi/horror about extraterrestrials and one man’s frightening journey to discover balance and what it really means to be human, wins IndieReign’s Project of the Week Competition!

If you’re a fan of science fiction, horror, aliens, and independent film, you’re bound to love The Three! Inspired from films such as The Incredible Shrinking ManInvasion of the Body Snatchers, and They Live.

When Brian LaRue becomes convinced that his father is being visited by extraterrestrials, he takes it upon himself to seek out answers from Jonas Allenbach, a local recluse who claims his son was abducted seventeen years earlier. But as Brian delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding what Jonas refers to as ‘The Three,’ terrifying realizations come to light and Brian must confront the many demons of his past, which just might be exactly what ‘The Three’ want.

‘The Three’ turns the alien abduction genre on its head with this story of one man’s frightening journey to discover what it really means to be human.

This indie is highly anticipated in the sci-fi scene, starring Doug Jones, (Pans Labyrinth, Hellboy, Hellboy II, Adaption) Lew Temple (UnstoppableLawlessThe Devil’s RejectsThe Lone Ranger) and Jim Ojala (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-Men: The Last Stand, Firefly, Hellboy II), and not only that, but there’s a great team on board for amazing cinematography and sound scaping. Watch the pitch video below to see what I mean…

The Three recently won IndieReign’s Project of the Week Competition, and after a tough battle, came out on top! Congratulations team! A job well done.
